Asessment Services for Colleges and Universities:

	Student Assessment by Field	Portfolio Desigm and/or Review	Interview faculty and review department learning goals to identify materials for inclusion in student portfolio, develop and supply portfolio checklists for advisors and students, provide subject area specialty review (social sciences and humanities fields, interdisciplinary programs), provide a report showing cumulative performance of students on each goal.	$150 for set up plus  per portfolio fee based on size and number of portfolios.
		Focus Group Interviews	Interview sample groups of majors/students for student staisfaction,	$500 per day
		Thesis/ Seminar Paper/ Research Project Review	Review capstone projects and score according to departmental goals, or general disciplinary norms for research design, quality of research and analysis, writing skill.  Provide cumulative summary report showing range of student achievement and median on each attribute.	Fee negotiated based on length and number of  paper/projects to review.
		Oral Exams	Group or individual oral exams to cover such areas as knowledge of research design, oral communication, problem solving, quantitative literacy, ethics.  Provide cumulative summary report and tape of exam.	Pro-rated based on $500 per day
		Sampling Reviews of  Written Work	Interview faculty to identify a pool of written work drawn from the regular assignments of multiple courses.  Review written work for skills appropriate to course level, such as writing, analysis, organization, content knowledge.  Proovide written assessment report on findings.	$150 for set-up, review fee pro-rated, based on $500 per day.
	General Education Assessment	Writing Exam Design and Grading	Review general education written communication goals,  design 1 hour writing experience that will let students demonstrate their skill in meeting college goals, recruit small core of  paid graders and provide a cumulative report on outcomes.  If requested will certify students who met standards, and provide lists of students whose performance did not meet minimum standards.	$150 for set-up, $ 2000 per 100 students.
		Portfolio Review	Interview faculty and review general education goals to identify materials for inclusion in student portfolio, develop and supply portfolio checklists for advisors and students, provide subject area specialty review, provide a report showing cumulative performance of students on each goal.   Can be done for whole senior class or a sample.	$150 for set up plus  nrgotiable fee for review of portfolios (based on size and number of portfolios)

		Transcript Syllabus Review/Analysis	Sample transcripts of graduating seniors, review actual course selections and grades in combination with syllabus from the course to determine if students actually receive instruction in areas of concern to general education.  Written report	$250 per 50 transcripts
		Oral Exams	Group or individual oral exams to cover such areas as knowledge of research design, oral communication, problem solving, quantitative literacy, ethics.  Provide cumulative summary report and tape of exam.	Will give quote based on $500/ day
		Sampling Reviews of Written Work	Interview faculty to identify a pool of written work drawn from the regular assignments of multiple courses.  Review written work for performance on identifiable general education goals and skills.	Will give quote based on $500/ day
